In this photograph, I aimed to evoke a sense of unease. The feeling of standing face to face with something seemingly happy and welcoming. The thing is after all smiling, but every fiber in your body tells you to run - you are in danger. This is enhanced by using the the colour white which is often associated with peace and purity. But everything about this entity screams dark with ill intent giving the viewer contradictory feelings.
